What is the life expectancy of my HVAC system?

How often you run your system, the system’s age, its make and model, and whether or not it was serviced regularly over the course of its life can all play a significant role in how long your system will last Most air conditioners expected to last approximately 15 years. A good quality furnace that is regularly serviced can be expected to last a similar time.

What brands do you install?

We service and maintain any furnace or air conditioner unit, water heater etc, as long as we have access to the parts. We are a certified Goodman dealer and may recommend the best efficiency upgrade to help save you money and repair costs.

What is a heat pump?

A heat pump is part of a HVAC system and is installed outside your home similar to an air conditioning unit. A heat pump can provide air conditioning, but it’s also capable of providing heat. In cooler months, a heat pump pulls heat from the cold outdoor air and transfers it indoors, and in warmer months, it pulls heat out of indoor air to cool your home. They are powered by electricity and transfer heat using refrigerant to provide comfort all year round.

Do I need HVAC maintenance?

HVAC units which are made up of your heating system (furnace) and cooling system (a/c conditioning) need regular, check ups, cleanings and servicing to help keep them running reliably and efficiently for you and your family. This regular maintenance helps to fend off any potential break downs when you least expect it.
